Our Recreational Facility Base Models Are As Follows:

GSR CONCRETE PILES

We supply and install concrete piles to anchor our outdoor systems. This is the most cost efficient way to anchor a rink. The piles are 8" in diameter and go 6' deep around the perimeter of the rink.

GSR CONCRETE GRADE BEAMS

We supply and install concrete grade beams that are secured with screw piles around the perimeter. This
establishes a "retainer" for the dashers. This system sets up for a future expansion of a concrete
pad.

GSR OUTDOOR FLOATING SLABS

This turns an average outdoor rink into a year-round Sport Facility. Utilizing the concrete pad in the summer months for rollerblading, skate parks, lacrosse, and inline hockey, BBQ's, and any other function.

Our refrigerated concrete slabs, Indoor or Outdoor are constructed to such strict toler-ances that we have become the leaders in the industry.

RECREATIONAL FACILITY CONCRETE SLABS

Reward Construction’s history is quite extensive:

Reward has the experience of over 70 sport facility floors behind them. They can solve any problem big or small to make the project a reality.

Reward works closely with communities to design their recreational facility concrete slabs to ensure their requirements are met.

In 2009, the year prior to the Vancouver Olympics, Reward was the first and currently the only contractor in Canada to pour a Speed Skating Oval in one continuous pour.

Reward treats their surfaces with special liquid hardeners that are designed to fight UV rays for exposed concrete slabs.

Reward can also embed inserts and anchors for a variety of sporting applications, livestock and circus, events.
Reward has installed the bases for numerous elite projects. For example, Reward supplied and installed the refrigerated sand base for the 2005 NHL charity game in Hamilton, Ontario “Our Game to Give.” also, they supplied and installed the refrigerated concrete floor components for the Speed Skating Oval in Fort St. John, B.C.
